From the graffiti on subway walls, intense freestyle battles, all
the way to break dancing New York City breaths hip hop. This great
city has been producing hip hop stars since the days of Curtis Blow.
So its no surprise that at my young at of 24 I've been influenced by
that and much more. Born in Manhattan and raised in the South Bronx,
I'm finally ready to share with the world what hip hop has brought
to my life, happiness and articulate music abilities. I'm best known
for my catchy hooks, lyrical ability, and songwriting skills.
Some of my heaviest influences are Slick Rick, Nas, Jadakiss, Big
Pun, and Snoop Dogg. My background has also played a major part in
my music. Growing up in the inner city gave me hunger,
determination, and drive to go after what I want and need to pursue
my music career. When I was younger I didn't have much and now I
want it all. At the age of 17 I moved to Richmond Virginia, which I
now consider my second home. Being in V.A. for five years played an
important part on forming my own original style. See I took the
100mph NYC lifestyle added my comfortable VA lifestyle, and mold in
to one unique art form that's crisp, fresh, and new. When I create
songs I take a lot of my life experiences and paint a picture for my
listeners. One thing that VA gave me was a different vocabulary. I
learned their slang and how to chop my words in a way that blends
the North with the South. This style of rap can be heard in my song
"G's". While in VA I was hard at work perfecting my craft and
networking. I worked with VA's Heavy Hitter DJ Lonny B on the mixtape "Buzz Mode Vol. 1" and with local artist on
various mixtapes
and albums. Anyone who knows me knows that the name personifies the
name. I'm calm cool and collective in the booth is where I come
alive. This past year as been a long journey. I've grown not only as
an artist but I've become an overall better person. I'm a hustler by
nature and will stop at nothing until I've achieved my ultimate
goal, to become successful. Now that my latest album "Listen Close"
is complete, I'm ready to put the rap game in a choke hold . PAY
